2024 Single Vineyard Chardonnay
2024 Single Vineyard Chardonnay
A medium bodied modern Australian Chardonnay. Complex gunflint, brine, oatmeal and spicy aromatics lead into a palate of crisp pear and apple fruit flavours with creamy texture.
Handpicked fruit was whole bunch pressed to tank to be partially cold settled. Semi-clear juices were racked into a range of French oak barrels (10% new) for ambient yeast fermentation. Full malolactic fermentation was allowed to occur, and the wine was left on full solids for 8 months in barrel without sulphur dioxide prior to blending to tank. Bottled in May 2025.

Review
Review
94 Points — Tom Kline, Wine Pilot
“Flinty reduction gives way to cashew nut, brine, grapefruit, pear and lemon pith. The palate is taut and mineral-driven, carried long and linear by brine-drenched acidity.”
93 Points — Jeni Port, Wine Pilot
“A finely delivered young Chardonnay with citrus, grapefruit and spice aromas. Bright acidity works alongside honeysuckle florals and a strong citrus vein.”
93 Points — Campbell Mattinson
“Complex and refreshing with white peach, citrus, beeswax, smoked corn and flint flavours supported by excellent structure and length.”
91 Points — Stuart Knox, The Real Review
“Fresh and lively with lemon blossom, grapefruit pith and subtle nutty complexity. Vibrant from entry to finish.”
